COD commerce, simplified.
Shippey takes an order from your Facebook page to the confirmation call, the waybill, the courier and the reconciled cash — one workspace, built for cash-on-delivery in Sri Lanka.
The COD back-office problem
Spreadsheets weren't built for cash on delivery
A COD store grows on Facebook and WhatsApp — and the operation behind it runs on chat scrollback, paper manifests and memory. The leaks compound every day.
Spreadsheets that quietly fall apart
Order rows, payment notes and courier handovers live in different files. One missed row means a parcel nobody packed or cash nobody collected.
Orders buried in chats
Facebook and WhatsApp inboxes each hold fragments of an order. Confirmations, addresses and receipts are impossible to search.
Unconfirmed parcels that come back
Without a confirmation call before dispatch, you pay the courier both ways on orders the customer never meant to keep.
Cash you cannot track
Couriers collect cash on your behalf across dozens of runs. Matching remittances to manifests by hand takes days and hides shortages.
Resellers you settle by memory
Someone sells your products for a margin, and at month end the two of you reconstruct who owes whom from chat history.
Reports built once a month, too late
Which courier returns the most parcels? Which caller confirms the most orders? Spreadsheets answer weeks late.
The Shippey journey
One flow, from lead to reconciled cash
Six connected stages replace the patchwork of chats, sheets and courier group chats. Tap through the journey an order takes.
- Capture
- Confirm
- Pack
- Dispatch
- Deliver
- Reconcile
Step 01
Capture
Orders arrive from your Facebook pages, a spreadsheet, or by hand.
- Facebook page leads, attributed to the page
- Bulk import with city validation against the courier list
- Manual entry for phone orders
One platform, eight workflows
Everything a COD store actually runs on
No generic modules. Each of these exists because a Sri Lankan COD store lost money without it.
Up and running in days
Keep your couriers, your pages, your team
Shippey wraps around how you already sell. Nothing to migrate on day one; your couriers and your Facebook pages stay exactly where they are.
Connect your pages
Orders from the Facebook pages you sell from arrive attributed to the page. Add a spreadsheet import and manual entry for everything else.
Call, pack, dispatch
A caller confirms every order. Print waybills with your branding, route by district or product, and book Trans Express or Royal Express by API.
Deliver and reconcile
Courier status flows back onto the order. Match remittances to runs, settle couriers, and pay resellers from a statement instead of a chat.
See the whole flow with your own eyes
Create a sample order, dispatch it, deliver it and reconcile the cash — in the demo below.
Interactive demo
The whole operation, on one screen
A working demo with sample data, not a screenshot. Search orders, dispatch parcels, change statuses, reconcile COD cash and export a report. It runs and saves entirely in this browser.
Tip: open any order row to advance its delivery lifecycle, then reconcile its cash in the COD tab.
Security & data isolation
Your data stays yours — and yours alone
Every workspace is isolated at the database: your orders, customers, products and reseller relationships are scoped to your business by row-level security, enforced by Postgres rather than by application code. Your resellers see only the orders they placed.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection to the platform and to the couriers' APIs is over TLS, with HSTS enforced.
Courier credentials encrypted
Your courier API keys are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a key held outside the database.
Roles and permissions
Each staff member sees only the screens their role allows. Resellers have a separate, narrower role.
Activity log
Status changes, settlements and admin actions are recorded with who did them and when.
On this page, the interactive demo runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter in it is sent to a server.

Dispatch through the couriers you already use

Dropshippers
Let resellers sell for you — without handing them your business
Give a reseller their own login, your product list, and a base price per item. They sell at whatever price they like above it, place the order themselves, and keep the margin. You pack it, ship it, and collect the cash — the parcel goes out under their shop name.
- Their orders, your pipeline. A dropshipper's order lands in your queue already confirmed, and goes through the same packing, dispatch and delivery as your own.
- Base price is the floor. You set what each product costs them; the app refuses anything sold below it. Prices are captured at order time, so a later re-price never moves an old order.
- Statements, not spreadsheets. Margin accrues per delivered order. Close a period, see every order on it, mark it paid. Returns earn nothing, and can carry a return charge back to them — itemised.
- You decide the courier. Let them choose from your couriers, pin them to one, or route it yourself.
